Mediation

Litigating a case can be expensive and left in the hands of a Judge–who knows little to nothing about your life. Some parties opt to mediate their case by a neutral third party, called a mediator. This route can cut costs and allow the parties to have more control over the outcome in their own case. The mediator can assist the parties in resolving the issues, but they cannot and will not represent either parties’ individual interests in the case. The agreement will then be put into writing and some parties wish to have their agreement looked over by their own attorney.
