About the Attorney

Anne Curtolo knew she wanted to practice Family Law in high school when she took an introduction to law class. She attended the University of California, San Diego with the intention to practice law, so she focused her internships and volunteer work within the Family Law community in San Diego. She volunteered at the Family Law and Probate Courthouses, as well as at the Family Law Facilitator’s office. She interned for Honorable Ronald Domnitz, now retired and worked for the nonprofit, Kids’ Turn, San Diego which assists parents and kids through divorce and separation.

After graduating UCSD in only three (3) years with a major in Political Science and a minor in Law and Society, she attended the McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. Anne interned with a Family Law attorney, learning the details of the Family Code and drafting pleadings. She was active in the Community Legal Services program at McGeorge as a certified law student at the Elder Law Clinic representing indigent elderly clients on contract issues, Medicare insurance cases, wills, and trusts.

The summer before graduating, Anne secured an internship at the Family Law Courthouse in Vista working underneath the Family Law research attorney and side by side with the Judges and Commissioners. She worked for each Judge/Commissioner on an individualized basis and learned about the law from the “other side of the podium.”

After graduating from McGeorge, Anne returned to San Diego County and prepared for the bar. While waiting for results, she worked as a law clerk and was then hired as a full time attorney at a reputable private firm. She then worked for another private firm in San Diego County before starting her own firm. Anne has handled countless contested and uncontested cases, on a variety of issues including child custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, division of assets and debts, contested prenuptial agreements, and restraining orders. Anne has experience from the judicial side and from the private practice side in order to handle cases appropriately. She prides herself on ethically and efficiently resolving her cases.
